Argosy Casino Bus Trip

This was one of the bus tours we offered.

One group went to the Casino and the other went to the African American Musem.

Both groups returned in about three hours in time to rest for the banquet that evening.

The Downtown tour and African American Museum trip.

Many of the people that went enjoyed the tour, but they jsut did'nt have enough time to see it all and take part in the shows, activities, etc.

Friday Night Banquet

Family Members walked across the Red Carpet to enter the Ballroom
each couple or family had their pictures taken then proceeded into the NIGHT WITH THE JEMISON STARS! 

Dinner, entertainment, awards and dance.


Family members received Oscars for:

The family member who traveled the farthest (California)
The couple who recently got married
The oldest female & male member in the family
The person who organized & brought the most family members by bus
The family member who's birthday was that day
The Couple who has been married the longest

Our Entertainment Highlights were:

EMMA's DADDY'S PEOPLES PUPPETS
The puppets were purchased and named after some 
of our deceased Family members.

African Dancers 
Performed a Celebration Dance

Grand Finale was D. J. DIAMOND 
with the local WIZ Radio Station

Couples, youngpeople and olderadults started 
it off
and of course the young people change clothes and kept  the dance floor live until 1:30 a.m. and they did'nt want to stop.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME!
 

I was presented the Dave Jemison Award 
that evening by our National President
Billy Jemison.

Kendra Bradley received the Charlie Wheeler award by our National Vice President Alvin Wheeler.
Each Cincinnati Committee person 
recieved a Certificate of Appreciation 
for their Support and hard work.

The children twelve and under who participated 
on the committee all recieved Gifts.
